For the first time, Blue Diamond Machinery performed a full hydrogen demonstration at their warehouse in their hometown, Perth.

“It was [an]...epic day in Blue Diamond’s history, and in our hydrogen journey” commented Blue Diamond director Justin Pitts.

The live activation successfully demonstrated the capability of Blue Diamond’s GEH2 electro-hydrogen fuel cell generator. During the display, the GEH2 successfully recharged a POWR2 POWERBANK battery energy storage system (BESS). It was then able to power an Impulse Electric Pump.

“It was a pretty proud moment...” Justin continued.

The GEH2 Hydrogen Generator is specially designed as a clean energy solution to replace diesel or gas gensets in mobile, prime or standby operations. Emitting only water and some heat, the GEH2 is perfect for those in need of a strong power supply, without compromising on their low emission targets.

The recent activation was an open event for customers, potential customers and key industry figures. “We had the likes of FFI, FMG and BHP and some representatives from Rio Tinoto and Mineral Resources – some really fantastic companies,” Justin says.

“Really appreciative of everyone taking the time today to come down...” He adds.
